About Joe
Joe Yuan has nearly 10 years of experience working in the video game industry in a variety of functions including venture capital, M&A, corporate strategy, and business development. He currently operates as a M&A & funding advisor at Double Black Capital as well as a Venture Partner for 1AM Gaming.
Joe’s past experiences include roles such as Investment Director at HIRO Capital (a leading UK-based games-focused VC firm) and Director of Corporate Development & Strategy at Activision Blizzard, leading M&A and internal strategy for one of the world’s largest video game publishers.
Joe graduated with a B.A. in economics from Northwestern University and received his MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
